(#kcupdate) J. Crew X Friends of the High Line

J. Crew has collaborated with Friends of the High Line to produce a charitable capsule collection which consists of clothing and accessories. This collection is set to launch tomorrow, July 24, in selected J. Crew stores and online at the High Line Shop and JCrew.com.

The products aim to celebrate the story of the High Linean elevated freight railway saved from demolition and transformed into a public park on Manhattan's West Side.

Creative designers got together to create a range of designs that have been transferred onto t-shirts and sweatshirts for men, women and children to promote the High Line. The collection features photography by Joel Sternfeld; freight trains; the High Line's logo, designed by Paula Scher of Pentagram; botanical illustrations by George Olson of the American Society of Botanical Artists; and illustrations of the High Line by children's author Peter Brown.

Prices range from $15 to $78 and 100% of the proceeds go to Friends of the High Line.

(#kcupdate) Trinity Marque - Like a Rabbit

Like a Rabbit, released 2 weeks ago, is a new track from the Trinity Marque collective. The creative artwork always seems to amaze me it always looks more technical and even more interesting every time.

'Like a rabbit is about having fun, enjoying life, and letting loose. The track came to us as we were listening to the beat and one of our artists dropped a verse to it. It ended with the phrase 'bounce like a rabbit' so we inherited the concept and ran with it. The video came to us whilst we were all in the park with our speaker and it attracted a group of girls so we thought, why not?'

Watch out for Amil Antonio's upcoming mixtape, 'Nothing To Do With Music', which should be available really soon.

(#kcwardrobe) Pre Take Off!

I packed for my holiday just over two weeks ago now and I whilst I was away I was trying to find the time to sit down and blog but as you see I never got round to it. Now I'm back and I have some time on my hands after unpacking I thought that I should show you one of the best practical buys before I went away. I love my suitcase and I want to go on holiday over and over again, it makes me feel like a traveller because of the departure board design.

I have never known myself to pack light so I definitely know that this suitcase can hold over 20kg depending on what you pack in it I guess. I think I was able to pack over three weeks worth of clothes and I was only out of the country for 12 days, bad I know, but you never know I may have had to change more than once a day depending on where I was going.
