(#kcinterview) Amil Antonio
Amil Antonio is a young man that doesn't categorise himself into the traditional stereotype that he may be initially perceived as. Working on making a name for himself his audience is forever surprised at what he brings to the table as the challenges just push him to better himself.
Who is Amil Antonio?
Amil Antonio is me, its the better part as well as the worst. See, from near the ending of school people would refer to me as Ace, on the roads and on the blocks, and as I started college it adapted to "Ace Milly". To be honest I don't know why but it sounded catchy, so didn't really mind but in any case I knew that I couldn't take music seriously with that name plus I wanted something that meant more so I changed it. Now, 'Antonio' is simply my mothers maiden name and 'Amil' is a shortened version of 'Ace Milly'...'A - M - I - L'. People ask me why my mums last name and the answer is as simple as she is the one responsible for my up bringing so my mum is the first and only women I love. All in all 'Amil Antonio' is me, its how I see myself on common grounds, what I think reflects who I honestly am and gives me the chance to share that with people, through music, and for them to understand my thoughts.

(#kcinterview) Milo
Doing something you love opens up so many doors for you. It's amazing how I was able to learn even more about myself and my way of thinking from getting together with Milo to give you another inspiring and knowledgeable interview to read.
I hope that it's helpful to read interviews from people in the field already, even if your speciality isn't music you can still realise small things that could change your life forever.
I would now like to introduce you to Milo, a great man who has creativity at the forefront of everything he does!
From a young age I've had an insatiable obsession with the concept of rhythm and the effect a beat has on both the medium through which it is being relayed or created and the subject that is receiving it.
How has your obsession evolved into your everyday life?
It's become first nature, everything I hear I make a beat out of. I find myself filling the space in between sounds with drum fills! For example, the space in between each ring of my house phone and the space between each ring of the school bell!
From everything I know about you and what you've shared I can tell you're into your music. What instruments do you play and what other talents do you have to share with the rest of the world?
I like to think of myself as a bit of a writer. I feel as comfortable hovered over a piece of paper with my bic biro at the ready as I do when sat behind my drum kit. I guess I would say my second instrument is my pen.
Do you keep your writing as a personal hobby or do you like to share it with anyone who wants to see?
Well my writing has 3 aspects to it: Song writing, creative/poetic writing and spoken from experience writing. All this is a form of release, as and when I feel somewhat inspired by recent and or past events and when it seems necessary.
You definitely have a creative flare to your practice, does this influence your style and vice versa?
Yeah I think so! In my opinion style is the wordless introduction, people will come to their own conclusion based upon what they see just like people come to their own opinion on a song they hear or a written piece they read. It's self expression.
Who inspires the way you work?
I'm a big film score fan and I love the work of composers like Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, John Williams, Alan Menken, The Sherman Brothers, Quincy Jones. These people have been responsible for the music in some of my favourite films, films I grew up on spanning from the mid 70's-late 90's.
How would you describe your personal style?
I've been told that I don't dress to my stereotype, that's kind of the point. I guess the older and more experienced I become the less standout my clothes have become. My wardrobe consists of a few pairs of wrangler jeans, the obligatory chinos, some short sleeve printed shirts, six to seven plain v-neck black/white tees, five to six cable knit jumpers, two over shirts, two denim jackets, two leathers and one pea coat. I have a few accessories that consist of four Casio watches I've had for a number of years, my aluminium cards holders and my carabiners. I always have my set of keys, drum tuning key, along with my monkey fist key chain.
Sounds really interesting! Is there a place where people can keep up to date and follow your progress?
People can follow my progress on twitter @mformilo/@mformilonians and on soundcloud @mformilo.

(#kcinterview) DR Kaos
Being around a lot of creative people everyday made me realise over time how integrated music and fashion is. From music videos to catwalks DJs and fashion designers work closely together all the time. The best thing about increasing my social circle is that I get to meet new and upcoming 'creatives' regularly.
DR Kaos, DJ Danny D and RawTrouble HD is a new DJ collaboration that has recently combined their talents to bring you the newest music from the Caribbean with a UK twist.

Why did you choose the name 'DR Kaos'?
Originally we started off with the name Island Fusion but due to various things already having that name we realised we needed to find a new name. A couple friends of ours helped us to initially to come up with a name and then one of them came out with DR Kaos and it just clicked. 'DR' is the 1st initial of both of our DJ names and 'Kaos' comes from the atmosphere which we create when we play together. After knowing each other for 8 months why have you now chosen to combine your talents?
I'd say it's 50% for the love of music and 50% is for the vibe of each other. We have worked well together previously and we also have the same goal in mind to achieve.
Whats the best thing about being able to work with another person rather than working alone?
Being able to work with another person is good because it allows you to share knowledge with each other for songs that work well together. You can also work on remixes too and get second opinions which always helps. Sometimes you can get distracted by others when djing, so having another person to work with when the conversations do happen makes sure they remain constructive rather than distracting. As both of us have the same objective we can contribute differently in a way that works together so that we push each other to be bigger and better.
Who/what inspired you to be better and push yourself further?
DJ DannyD: When I go to parties and there are DJs that can't get the vibe right and then when I hear what the people want, I think that I'm capable of that! My main inspirations are DTee, DJ Tate, Mike Forbes and Trevor Davis.
RawTrouble HD: I gain inspiration from different things hence why I can't base it in one person. If I did have to name a few I would say DTee, QT2Hype, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Craze.
How would you describe your personal style?
DJ Danny D: I like being really casual and comfortable to be honest. A pair of jeans, a tshirt and some trainers do me nicely. I do like buying exclusive trainers though to wear on special occasions but other than that I'm pretty simple.
RawTrouble HD: I wear tshirts mainly but depending on where I'm going I might throw on a shirt paired with jeans or chinos. Vans, Nike and Adidas are normally my choice of brands for footwear but I do like to mix it up a bit with a few designer brands.
What can we expect to hear from you in the future?
You can expect to hear about us more and more as we continue to play out and make mixes. We will be making new mixes regularly for the public to download which will include a wide variety of music genres. Also we will be creating exclusive remixes for our mixes and when we play out at many different events.
Keep updated with DR Kaos by following them on twitter.
