Rihanna's new AW13 collection for River Island is set to launch on September 12th online and in selected stores.

The new 80-piece collection is worn by some of the newest fashion models on the scene; Ji Hye Park, Nayasha Kusakina, Milou Van Grossen and Tati Cotliar. It consists of of 'a mix of urban sports lux with sophisticated chic, with strong emphasis on clean yet glamorous dressing and a nod to streamlined sportswear'. - River Island

(#kccomp) The Swarovski Collective Sponsorship

If you're a designer who wants to apply for the Swarovski Collective sponsorship programme for S/S 2014 then the applications have now opened.

One major thing that is considered is that applicants must be inspired by and have a strong desire to work with Swarovski Elements, and must be showing at New York, London, Milan or Paris Fashion Week. You must also be able to explain why swarovski crystals are an essential part of your design and justifying how the support from Swarovski would benefit your collection.

This is the first ever #klosetcloset fashion competition. Take part, share and enjoy.

Criteria:
To be entered into the winners draw you have to correctly name the designer, with the season and year of the collection it is part of. For example, Saint Laurent Spring Summer 2013.

Enter:
Send your answers to klosetcloset@gmail.com and the subject of 'Catwalk Lover' with your name as well. In the email all you have to do is send the name of the designer and the collection it's from if you know. If not just send the answers that you do know as you could still be entered in the winners draw.

Closing date: Midnight of 14 March 2013

If you are a winner you will be listed in a shortlist post and within a couple of days the winner will be announced. As a winner you will feature in a #klosetcloset post which gives you the chance to promote yourself as an individual, brand, or company. It's totally up to you!

(#kccomp) FitFlop collaborates with Cordwainers

Just a quick update about a competition that is being run by FitFlop for the students of Cordwainers.

Students of Cordwainers customised a pair of Shuv clogs that were judged by Marcia Kilgore (founder and owner of FitFlops), Lulu Guinness (fashion designer) and Hilary Alexander (fashion journalist).

The five shortlisted Shuv designs are being showcased on the FitFlop Facebook page today. I've put in my vote so you should click here and vote for your favourite too. Tell a friend, to tell a friend, to tell a friend to vote vote vote!!!

Voting starts today and ends Wednesday 13th February and the winning design is going to be announced on February 14th, Valentine's Day. If you vote on the FitFlop Facebook page you will be automatically entered into a draw to win one of the14 pairs of Shuv clogs that FitFlop are giving away. Best thing about winning a pair of FitFlop's Shuv clogs is that the colour of the clogs is totally down to you!
